Baked Oatmeal Treats with Seasonal Fruit

The first recipe is one of my favorite healthy treats. It makes a solid breakfast or low calorie desert. The quarter cup of sugar is enough to make it interesting without making it a high carb sugar crash.

We generally look at all ways we can eat more oats. It does contain more carbs then some people like but the insoluble fiber and health benefits seem to outweigh this for us. If you would like to cut down on carbs or sugar

This can be cooked in a brownie pan or in a muffin tray. The muffin tray seems to give it a nice portion size at 8 servings. This keeps it under 100 calories a pop with lots of good ingredients for you. If you want to up the fiber and not worried too much on calories sometimes we like to add 1/4 cup of chia seeds. These add alot of fiber without changing the taste much.
