As engineers and scientists, we also enjoy using all the kitchen gadets and technology we can get our hands on. We do not use them for short cuts but for creating the best version of the recipe that we can.

Life is expensive here in norther Virginia and we live on a budget. We include a cost breakdown for every recipe that we post, so you’ll know how much it will cost your family for the night. With the average meal in Northern Virginia around $30 a person, we enjoy saving as much as we can at home making great food. I think you’ll find the food you can make at home will easily surpass going out to eat.
